Since Victorian times, the hibiscus flower has represented delicate beauty. Despite this, the flower itself is actually quite resilient and durable. Hibiscus is a women’s apparel collection that captures femininity through a unique lens. Different traditionally feminine artifacts are patchworked together to create a cohesive garment. While maintaining a wild and free mood, the designs still reflect the delicate means of their construction. From the use of tea towels, clashing patterns, bandanas, and throw blankets, the designs honor the name Hibiscus by preserving an eclectic look while being constructed using soft, unique items. The use of a floral name is additionally a nod to the different floral, and natural elements used throughout the collection.
